" Your name of Kentra
gives you a clever mind, good business judgment, a sense of responsibility, and an
appreciation of the finer things of life. You are serious-minded and not inclined to make
light of things even in little ways, and in your younger years you had more mature
interests than others your age. Home and family mean a great deal to you and it is natural
that you should desire the security of a peaceful, settled home environment where you can
enjoy the companionship of family and friends. Whatever you set out to accomplish you do
your very best to complete in accordance with what you consider to be right. In the home
you assume your responsibilities capably, having the self-confidence to form your own
opinions and make your own decisions. Others can rely on you; once you have given your
word you will do your utmost to fulfil a responsibility. However, there is a tendency to
be a little too independent in your thinking and it is difficult for you to accept the
help of others when you should. Due to your strong sense of responsibility, you
could experience worry and mental turmoil through assuming more responsibility than you
should. Friction could arise through others feeling that you were interfering with their
rights and privileges, even though you are only trying to help." "Quoted

Wolf Cross animals, are intelligent, loyal, territorial, and leaders. Kentra is an alpha female, who uses her skills to manage all the activities of her surroundings. She is very busy these day's looking after other dogs, working on a Doggy Friendly BnB in Pemberton, and chasing the Black and Brown Bear visitors, out of our area of Whistler's White Gold Subdivision. She still loves to run with us when we bike, and is a great companion for hikes! She is well known to Whistler By-Law, but has only been captured once, as a young puppy. Wolf cross pets require attention, action, and patience early on. They must run, explore, and develop their domestic traits. As they mature wolf-cross animals, develop into excellent companions. Kentra loves being involved with everything! She has flown in small aircraft, camped, mountain biked, and been on Whistler Mountain, via the Creekside Gondola. She is a great trainer of younger dogs, and is currently very busy looking after neighbour's cats, and dogs, as if they were her own. We would like to hear from other owners of Wolf-Cross animals, and encourage you to email us, with your experiences and thoughts, and other interesting page links. Having Kentra as a pet, has really made our family aware of the environmental importance of wolves. As a result we have recently joined and sponsored a female wolf "Alpine" through the The Central Rockies Wolf Project. Alpine is a female wolf, captured and radio collared in The Cascade Valley of Baniff National Park in March 1999. She was named after the high elevation terrain were she was caught. At capture she was estimated to be 10 months old, 41kgs, (90lbs), Body length 0f 132cm's, (52in), Alpine has a black coat, with silver fur underneath, grey coloured legs, and silvery - grey face. I am sure she is a beautiful wolf! "Alpine's" complete profile is available, thorough this link: wolfawareness.ca alpine profile. Our Sponsorship assists with the support of Wild Wolf research, and Wolf Conservation.
